Okay, here’s the deal.

It’s snowing.

Still.

Apparently, in New York City, they are disappointed because they are only getting a ‘glancing blow’ because Stella is proving to be a ‘blizzard bust’. Glancing blows and  blizzard busts don’t really take full advantage of the whole State of Emergency thing I guess, and this is not good.

I went over to abcnews.com and found out that there are various videos available, including ‘New Yorkers play golf, have snowball fights in storm’ and ‘New York’s JFK braces for winter storm’. Not one other city is mentioned when it comes to Stella. I’m beginning to feel like Jan Brady complaining about Marsha.

New York, New York, New York!

Clearly, I’m going to need to rely on local news… so….

Measuring Stick, 11:23 a.m.

Dunstable (AP*): Snow continues to fall in increasingly heavy bands and we now have approximately 4 inches of accumulation. This is not easily discernible in the above photo due to the nearly constant movement of the Measuring Stick. Visibility is down to… the second maple in the back. Sometimes the snow blows around.
