Geeses at Mr. Tully’s Farm

Fall’s falling quickly, warmth it ceases
Folks starting to break out their fleeces
It’s time for all these northern geeses
To break their landlord’s hearts and leases.

Gathering sons, daughters, nieces
Jimmys, Marys, Andys, Theresas
On and on, it never ceases
I’ve even heard of some Maurices

They organize in lines with creases
Their “V” shapes checked by geese polices
Once launched they honk, disturb the peaces
And leave behind their geese’s feces.
