After the recent storm, I was watching the ShepHerds play.

It was so quiet, as they leapt and turned and harumphed through the snow.

And the quiet did what quiet does, reminding me of simple truths.

Including the fact that, on this ongoing, chugging train of life…

It pays sometimes, to pick our heads up.

Look around.

Take note of the beauty.

Have some fun.

Be a little silly.

Play a game or two.

Oh, and one more thing.

Instead of getting back into everyone else’s groove.

Why not create our own…
