Happy Mother’s Day

When the kids were little, I never knew what waking up on Mother’s Day morning would bring.

My fave?

Jelly eggs.

Sam’s idea.

He loved eggs.

He loved cheese.

He loved ketchup.

He loved grape jelly.

Mix ’em all up and whatdaya get?

Jelly eggs.

They were…. yes….

Egg-cellent.

This year, I was up first and came downstairs, hit the button on the coffee pot (because there is nothing good that happens if I don’t do that first) and looked around and saw Mini Mouse party decor on the lights, and Frozen confetti around sparkling accessory items…

And pancakes were served and the mothers and grandmothers – Granny is of course both, and I am too…. only my grand’children’ are cats (who gave me a lovely card and a beautiful photo of them both, which is what grandmothers love to get so we can boast to other grandmothers about our cherubs (whether plain or furry))…

Anyway…

A great time was had by all.

Including Marshal Dillon Dingle, who got to play with his favorite blue disc.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there… with or without biological cherubs.

Because ‘Mom’ isn’t just a title…

It’s a state of mind.
